Swedish cargo handler provider MultiDocker increases global footprint and consolidates strong position in the pulp and paper industry with three machines to Indonesia.
MultiDocker, supplier off efficient cargo handling solutions for ports & terminals, is proud to announce the sale of three of its CH85 machines to RAPP pulp & paper mill in Indonesia.
RAPP (Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper), a large producer of pulp and paper in Indonesia and beyond, has selected MultiDocker as a a key element in their logistics chain for their mill in Kerinci, on the island of Sumatera, Indonesia.
The MultiDockers will discharge about 5 000 000 tonnes of pulp logs per year on a riverside jetty, from where the logs move on to the mill. This is the sort of challenging environment where these efficient cargo handlers will play a key role in supplying the mill with all its raw material.
“We are very proud to sign our first major deal in Indonesia and look forward to working with our local partner and CAT dealer Trakindo, as well as with RAPP for future opportunities in the region and beyond”, says Percy Österström, Chairman and Owner of MultiDocker.
The contract was signed early this year and the deliveries will take place during third quarter 2015.
MultiDocker provides cargo handlers for ports & terminals.
